Based between Rome, Milan, London, and the United States, Dario Tomei is a director, producer, and personal assistant with an international perspective and a deeply cinematic approach to storytelling. Driven by innovation and creative courage, he explores cinema through an intimate and honest lens, always looking for new ways to break conventions.
His journey began in 2021, and since then he has built a strong path across international film and television sets. His short film Bon received three awards, marking an early recognition of his vision.
As an Assistant Director, Dario has worked with leading filmmakers such as Mel Gibson, Michael Mann, Stefano Sollima, Danny Cannon, Gabriele Muccino, and Max Parker, alongside actors including Michael Keaton, Tom Hiddleston, Bryan Cranston, Jason Isaacs, Adam Driver, and Penélope Cruz.
